I made this LO for the recent sketch at Sassy Lil Sketches
I like how they have Switch it UP Saturday and show some much looser interpretations of the sketch
this inspired me to a much looser version for myself
I ditched the banner and used only one photo instead of two - the bingo card is replacing one
i lined up the embellishments at the bottom instead of grouping them and tucked my journalling away
I still put a journalling card in the suggested spot but stuck my title on it instead
What do you think?
I also used up a bit of my Counterfeit kit-
I like it a lot - I mostly loosely interpret sketches but love using them all the time anyway! this one is great and I love the woodgrain paper. the three embellies are so pretty
ReplyDeleteI start off fine - but often seem to veer away into doing my own thing - but as long as it gets me started. I'm always rather surprised if it looks like the sketch! I like the tag and bingo card combo
ReplyDeleteI love that you switched up the sketch. It makes you able to use them again. That happy face is adorable.
ReplyDeleteI like the changes you made to the sketch
ReplyDeleteLove it! I love your substitutions.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty-love those butterflies especially!
ReplyDeleteA very pretty page!! Great work!
ReplyDeleteI like your interpretation too. I think the beauty of sketches is that you can take them in any direction you want - depending on how adventurous you are feeling at the time.
ReplyDeleteOh Karen I just absolutely love the way you 'switched this up'...awesome looking lo!
ReplyDeleteSketches are really just starting points to me ... I'm always slightly dissatisfied if it's too recognisable by the time my page is ready as I don't feel I've made it "mine" enough.
ReplyDeleteLove what you've done with this one!
