silly faces ( or forlorn hope)

I don 't know why I bother entering some challenges- the Crate Paper one is always so tempting but the winners Los are always so fab- so full of little details and ALL the embellishments that I never buy. My Los are maybe a little too simple
Anyway this sketch challenge caught my eye- my LO keeps the three photos across the page but shrinks it down and then layers it onto a 12x12 piece

Its Nancy pulling stupid faces last weekend- I used my Pogo to print the photos hence the slightly grainy feel to them

Edit-
well I didn't win but I was picked as one of the eyecatching LOs on the Crate Paper blog here

  1. Hey, what's there to lose when entering challenges. If anything it brings more people over here to check out your wonderful blog! Such a fun layout and fun pictures! Love the little girl jumping rope image and the way you did your journaling!

  2. Love how you used the sketch and stayed true to your style! It's really not about how much product you can get on a page! Those photos are the star!

  3. What a wonderful layout!
I think challenges are for yourself, a little something to push you, to help you create a beautiful page you might not have done otherwise and the winning part....well that's a little bonus :) Wishing you a great rest of the week!!!
