the Kraft it up challenge this month has got me experimenting- the challenge is to journal in an unusual way
well this morning when I went into my craft room Nancy had left me a little gift- she had written her name on a piece of my scrapbooking paper- normally I would be furious but today I was rather thrilled- I decided i could use it on a LO about Nancy's writing
the problem was my plan meant i had to wait for Nancy to come home from school to finish it- I gave her a piece of Craft paper to write all over and draw on- then I could use it as a background to my LO- and an alternative to journalling
this is what she made
and this is how it looked when i finished adding the original piece of writing , a title and some embellishments
Very cute! The worrying thing is that your kids might work out that if they do something naughty AND scrapworthy they may get away with it as it makes a good layout! haha!
ReplyDeleteIncluding our own handwriting in scrap-booking is important, but I think including our childrens' writing or drawings is really overlooked. Terrific that you thought out of the box and created a really special layout.
ReplyDeleteFabulous! Really should do something like this myself for my 2!!
