Warning- some people may find the content of this post disturbing (if they don't like spiders)

Warning- pictures of large spiders with hairy legs follow

( did you make it this far?)
there is a truly enormous spider living in front of our window at the moment- it has strung its  web over the window and often sits ion the middle of the web right across our view
I took these photos over the last two days- and then of course I felt the need to scrap them!

I used the sketch from Sarah's cards for this- changing it up a bit
scroll down for the sketch
this is the first photo of the spider on its web
and then today it had caught something and was wrapping it up ready to take it away
this is a bad shot of the spider but at least you can see the way it is in the way of my outlook

Sassy

I made this LO for the recent sketch at Sassy Lil Sketches

I like how they have Switch it UP Saturday and show some  much looser interpretations of the sketch
this inspired me to a much looser version for myself
I ditched the banner and used only one photo instead of two - the bingo card is replacing one
i lined up the embellishments at the bottom instead of grouping them and tucked my journalling away
I still put a journalling card in the suggested spot but stuck my title on it instead
What do you think?
I also used up a bit of my Counterfeit kit-

uniform

this week I managed to get round to the Sketchy Thursday sketch before the deadline :)
instead of putting my photos in a line I bunched them up to balance with the apple shape where the title is- its actually the front cover of a note book that I bought to use on a LO- I think it goes with the whole back to school/ autumn feel. I also use some lined paper to add to the school feel- Nancy put on her uniform to do a fashion show for her Grandma so she could see what she would be wearing to school.

Shimelle's starting point

Its windy here at the moment- too windy to cycle to school today and too windy to take a photo of a LO outside without holding it down- hence the fingers in the picture and the curling up edges

Shimelle has stated a new challenge on her blog as well as the sketch- its called a starting point and she provides you with an unfinished LO and asks you to go from there

When I saw the challenge this week I loved the papers she used and knowing I had them in my pile of new papers waiting to be tried I decided to copy almost exactly her starting point- I can't wait to see what she did next (her starting point is below) but you can see what I did with it above- the picutres are of Nancy on a swingboat at the horse racing we went to on bank holiday Monday

sweeet

just a quick post for a quick LO- rustled this one up  first ( blogged about this last) to get myself back into scrapping this week

arty or too much?

this LO is for the colour challenge at Crate Paper- this is another function on my camera that allows you to take a photo with effects- I'm not quite sure why I need it- I can do this on the computer later but it was fun to play with while we were on the beach this summer- we spent a week at the beach near our house while our removal men packed and all the final arrangements were made

anyway the title reflects the useless nature of the camera effect.

twisted

Talk about last minute- i made this LO with hours to spare for the deadline and sent it off to Twisted Sketches for my design team work- but then I had no time to post the LO what with unpacking box after box of stuff that had been in storage for three years and packed so badly that it gives me a head ache just thinking about it.

Anyway my next design team LO for Twisted is due in tomorrow- haven't managed to do that one yet and here is the LO from two weeks ago- better nip over to twisted now quickly if you want to see want to see what the sketch was!- there's a link at the side
