let your colours fly

I am fed up with work- it is seriously cramping my scrapbooking style- I am so late at posting everything and getting LOS done
these are for the Scrap it with a Song challenge for September ( well the top one) the song was the Beach Boys- Be True to Your School- I went for the line "Let Your colours fly" and used a picture of Nancy from the Olympic Park.  I made a quarter of a Union Jack from coloured paper-
I had already used this technique on a LO of our evening in the Olympic stadium
its called "Our Greatest Day" as the GB team was nicknamed " OUr Greatest Team"

summer nose

This is my Lo for the recent sketch challenge at Sarahs cards

It was a nice simple sketch open to a lot of interpretation. I've got the photo and the title in the same place but I've gone for bits of strips rather than all across the page , half a doily rather than a banner and I filled the space with a few butterflies.

the LO is called " Dirty Summer Nose" a close up photo of Nancy's nose with chocolate ice-cream stains on the end of it

I used lots of bits of October Afternoon Woodland Park

go eat noodles

OMG another REALLY late posting. I made this LO for the design team over at From Screen to Scrap the LO had to use the movie poster for the last house on the left as well as needing
1. a black cardstock
2. a red word in the title
2. a house on the LO ( there are four little ones on mine)
the challenge runs until the end of September so I am only two weeks late and you still have plenty of time to enter- follow the link here to see the other inspiration

this is the poster

tonka truck

right I am so magnificently behind with posting that it is getting embarrassing

This LO was for the challenge at Child's Play- the Lo was inspired by the Tonka Truck and I used the yellow colours to make a LO about Arthur in his Brazil football kit.

Teach the children

Yes another truly late LO- my design team submission for Scrap it with a Song

the title- very apt for September- Teach Your Children by Crosby Stills and Nash

My LO is called- she learns something new every day- inspired by Shimelle's class. I bought the class pass last year and avoided doing any of the suggestions and this year and I have failed again to find the time for any of it- I haven't even managed to open the e-mails :(

better luck with Journal Your Christmas :)
