another two in a day

Another day away from work and I managed to rustle up another two Los inspired by things I'd saved over the last two weeks

our first trip on the London eye- we have since had three more

this weekend was spent searching for Wenlocks and Mandevilles all over London- the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic mascots- this was my three with one of the 23 we found

you can tell the summer holidays are here- despite the fact I have three children in tow 24-7 I can still manage to rustle up two LOS in a day ! so very excited to be scrapping again- even though they were very quick jobd

american crafts-

Anothe failed attempt at the American crafts design team- admittedly I was a bit last minute getting this ready but I tried

I'm not so good at the project/card element. This was an attempt at a piece of decoration :( 

I have since cut it up and re-used the circles for a design team piece of work that will appear here later in the week

I used a couple of Jillibean Soup journalling cards and a Hipstamatic photo of Arthur on the London Eye

its called "Getting Brave" because he was petrified at first but started to enjoy it in the end- even going on a second time  when I bottled out

Scrap it with a Song have a new challenge- We are Young byFun.

I took the line "carry me home" for the inspiration for this LO. the picture is Stanley carrying his little sister. We weren't actually on the way home at this point but I'll take the artistic license.

the latest challenge is up at Child's play- this time it is water colour paints.

I loved the circles of colour so I used some bits from a failed project to make this LO- You can see the failed project if you scroll down a bit or look at the previous post

my Jubilee Year Art Work

I made this to go on the wall in my lounge. I bought a few job lots of the Machin style stamps from e-bay and stuck them down in a rainbow effect. I had so many stamps I made a second, slightly smaller one ( by about three rows) to go on the wall in my bedroom

A LO for Scrap It with a Song about the trip My sister and me made to Blackpool with my Nan and Great Aunt. She had her hair spray painted orange and green while we were there

I based my LO on the colours of the Movie poster- the extra challenge is to include

-cut out figure

I made a LO about my Nan and the glamorous photos of her that I have from the 1940s
