Rad in a nutshell

another Shimelle sketch. this time I changed it slightly so that there were only two photos. The strange pose in the bottom picture is because Nancy was posing as One Direction- she says this is how they stand when they sing- haven't noticed it myself.

Shimelle has a number if sketch challenges active at her site at the momnet and I am desperately trying to complete a few. I have had a bit of a hectic week so the LOS that I mananged to make last week are only now ready to post. this sketch involved using a starburst ot the top of the LO- i made mine using a variety of washi tapes.

recipe for

I made a very simple version of the sketch over at Sarah's cards for this months challenge. i just used a couple of strips of washi tape, a basic gray chipboard piece, a couple of project life cards and a punch along with three photos in a strip.

next to me

Another challenge for Scrap it with a Song. This week it is Emili Sande for the Pop Girls with the song Next To Me. We couldn't get away from Emilie Sande last summer she was everywhere including the Olympic ceremonies. I chose a photo from last summer to use. Me and Nancy watching  the action at Kenilworth castle. The photo was taken by Nancy herself as she sat on my lap.

French Chateau

This LO is for the June sketch challenge at Scrap Our Stash. The sketch can be seen at the blog ( follow the link at the side) but the challenge also involves using up scraps of paper, using tags and twine or jute as well.

Its called French Chatuea and the pictures are of our visit to a local castle when we went to France last summer. there are three tags on there and a couple of shades of twine as well. Nancy is the cold grumpy child in the first picture- it was very windy and you couldn't go inside so we left quite quickly and went to watch some showjumping instead

using supplies volume 2 ~#1

Ok so I thought I would challenge myself again with a limited range of supplies and see how many LOs I could get out of them. This time I chose 10 papers which are double sided which gives me more options and as many pieces of Kraft as I wanted to make the LOs. Here are my papers
And the other side of those papers
and this is the first LO I made from those papers i just went with the title on the journalling block as my title for the LO- its called Good Times. the photo is Stanley and Nancy at the football match and considering our team , Wolves, has just been relegated a photo from last season when we were still in the Championship was good times. Notice Nacy is wearing a scarf from the season before , which reads Premier Wolves, because we were relegated last year as well. lets hope for better luck next season

using supplies 10 Giant Ferris Wheel

This is the last LO I managed to create with my supplies challenge. I punched out circles from the scraps that we left. In the end I decided to replace one with a square sticker. I used a sticker for the title and you may notice that yet again there are more pictures of the London Eye.

The picture below shows the scraps that I had left. I reckon I could get another LO out of them if I wanted but I am going to move onto a second challenge with a new set of paper. the problem is that if I can get this many LOs out of a limited supply of paper can I justify all the paper that I buy. think I may need to rethink something ( but maybe not the paper buying)
