days of Summer

cornwall
another from the scrap marathon and another Shimelle sketch. this time the LO is of my three in Cornwall, again from October 2011.
these may llok like exactly the smae photo but they are not there are very slight differences between the twobut you need to get very close up to see them.
Ice Cream in the Garden
My four hour scrap marathon allowed me to complete a few of Shimelle's scrap challenges today.
This LO shows my three in our garden in Holland eating ice cream.
I particularly like these photos as they were taken with my flashy camera that doesn't often get an airing. Another photo from that day is now a massive canvas print over my fireplace

Nancy on the Beach
Well today I had to go to work this morning. Teaching on a Saturday I ask you. But we had a revision session for our exam classes as time is too short in the week.. So that meant all my children were out when I got home. Four hours to scrap without any interruptions apart from chocolate, the Crime channel and making myself some dinner.
So this is one of the LOs I managed to create. It's for the sketch challenge at Sarahs Cards.
it show Nancy on the beach in Cornwall in October 2011. it amazes me how quickly time flies and how much I haven't scrapped when I scrap photos from recent years

guess who
The photo may be a little difficult to see on this so there is a close up below. The LO is for the challenge over at Child's Play which this week is the board game Guess Who. guess who became the title of my LO and the picture is from a visit to the Science Museum in London. They had an exhibition organised by Google that was interactive. A computer there took a photo of your face and then converted it to a picture etched in the sand. This is the picture it drew of Arthur.

lovely little face
Ok so it's time for the second Scrap Our Stash sketch. This time as well as the sketch you need to use at least six buttons on the LO.
I love pictures of Nancy, all kinds of pictures, close ups, silly faces, I just want to capture what she is like. The boys aren't so ready to let me take pictures any more so I take my opportunities while I can.

car draw
This week the challenge at Child's Play is Matchbox cars. I had to take a photo to use on this LO. The picture is a close up of the contents of Arthur's car draw. Stanley is past playing with cars now but Arthur still really enjoys it and long may it last.
spots and stripes
The latest challenge at Scrap OUr Stash is to use spots and stripes from your stash as well as birds and butterflies.
For My LO I decided to make stripes out of some offcuts of spotty paper. They happened to be in orange, red and yellow so I paired them with some photos of our Christams trip to see my sister- there are some photos of my son with his cousins. The butterflies and birds were harder but I squeezed in three butterflies and a piece of bird paper

Freaky Friday
The April challenge at From Screen to Scrap is a little tricky this month but I'm sure most people will handle it better than me.
The extra criteria from Shazza is .....
Freaky in the title (done)
An outline of a person ( done)
And purple and green card ( it's half and half in the poster) I used patterned paper- I guess that counts but purple is not something I buy very often in fact it's not a colour you see very often in papers so the one I used is an old Halloween paper from American Crafts
The photo is the two boys dancing madly on the beach in Cornwall. I love love love this photo it makes me smile every time I look at it
